For over fifteen years Solmate Socks has been designing and knitting stunning mismatched socks and accessories. We have continuously demonstrated a commitment to protecting the environment, the health and safety of our employees, and the businesses and communities where we do business.
Verified Rights Owner Program
We work hard to protect our reputation for providing the highest quality products and to protect our customers from merchandise that is inferior and confusingly similar to genuine Solmate Socks products. In order to protect consumers from counterfeits and other infringing products, we partnered with the VeRO Program to remove these items from eBay.
Intellectual Property Rights
Solmate Socks strictly enforces its intellectual property rights, including its trademarks, service marks and copyrights against unauthorized users. The photographic images appearing on Solmate Socks’ website and detail pages on Amazon are protected by copyright and are not available for use without the express written permission of Solmate Socks. In addition, the models appearing in such photographic images are protected against the unauthorized use of their likenesses by virtue of their rights of publicity and privacy.
Q: Why was my listing removed?
A: Solmate Socks regularly monitors the Internet, including auction and third party websites, in order to protect our brand and intellectual property rights. Any auctions found to have impermissibly used Solmate Socks’ intellectual property will be brought to the attention of eBay for further action.
Q: Why did eBay allow me to post my auction?
A: eBay is unable to pre-screen their auctions for all unauthorized uses. Therefore, even if the auction is posted, it does not mean that sale is legal.
Q: Why wasn’t I contacted directly regarding the infringement?
A: Due to the high number of auctions and eBay’s VeRO program procedures, we are unable to contact each seller directly.
